9. Teaching/Education
An education degree focused on teaching seems like one of the easier majors out there. While you’ll still need to take some classes in lesson planning, child development, and education theory, the coursework generally isn’t as intense as some STEM fields. You can even avoid higher-level math and science if you teach elementary school.
Of course, teaching itself is incredibly demanding work. But education majors at least have a straightforward path to jobs with decent pay and stability. Once certified, you can find roles teaching K-12 in public or private schools, frequently with great benefits.
Top teachers with experience can also move into higher-paying administrative roles. It’s not the path to riches, but if you have passion for educating young minds, an education degree provides an approachable way into a fulfilling, economically secure career.
